Establishing a connection

Launch this application, and do not switch to any other application on your for as long as you want a connection. Then, on your PC,

Open the Explorer program (for example by selecting "Computer" or "Documents" in the start menu).
If you are using a version of Windows prior to Windows 8:
- If you don't see a menu bar, press the Alt key.
- In the "Tools" menu, select "Map network drive...".
If you are using Windows 8 or later:
- Press on "Computer" in the list on the left.
- In the "Computer" menu, select "Map network drive...".
In the address field (which is already selected), type http:// or http://
Make sure the "Reconnect at logon" option is unselected.
If you set the "Require password" setting (we highly recommend you first test with this setting disabled), click on "different user name" or on "Connect using different credentials" (depending on which Windows version you are using) and enter the user name and password you chose (this prompt might come later, depending on your Windows version).
Press the "Finish" button.
The will now appear as a remote drive in the Explorer.

If you change the user name or password settings after establishing a connection, you will have to right click on the remote drive in Explorer, select "Disconnect" then start the connection procedure once again.

Troubleshooting

If you have a problem establishing a connection, you can:

Make sure your and your computer are on the same WiFi network.
Check the application settings, the server setting must be enabled.
Make sure the application is running on your .
Temporarily disable the "Require password" setting.
If you established a connection before but it's not working anymore, you can try this. In the Explorer program, right click on the remote drive you previously created (it should have a name like "DavWWWRoot"), select "Disconnect" then start the connection procedure once again.
If you are using Windows XP, make sure you have installed the software update for web folders (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907306).

If you have tried and failed with every other solution, you might have a very restrictive WiFi router. In this case, a solution could be to establish a direct WiFi connection between your and your computer. This is how to do it:

On your PC, click on the wireless network icon on the bottom right side of your screen. Click on "Connect or disconnect", then "Configure a network", then "Configure a wireless ad hoc network". As a network name give "MyNetwork". As security type, select "None (Open)". Then click "Next".
On your , launch the Settings application. Then click on WiFi, and select the network named "MyNetwork".
Start this application and follow the instructions at the top of this page.
Once you finished transferring your recordings, do not forget to reselect your normal WiFi network on your computer (click on the wireless network icon and you will see it) and on your .
